THE PROJECT
KarBel Multimedia worked with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority to create a train wrap design for the Skyway’s 25th Anniversary.
THE OBJECTIVE
To create a train wrap design to follow a past-present-future theme of the skyway system over the past 25 years. The design needed to incorporate elements of the Skyway and downtown Jacksonville (such as the skyline, bridge, and the river). The design would also incorporate an area for a removable 25th Anniversary medallion design to be placed on the train.
OUR SOLUTION
We created a design that displayed 2D images, photos and text. The design incorporated a timeline telling the history of the Skyway system that wrapped around the train. One side of the train is black and white to symbolize the beginning of the system and the timeline. The other side is in full color to show recent history events. We also created a Medallion design for the 25th Anniversary that we incorporated into the train wrap design. Below is the “before” picture of the train.
